İngilizcede soru takısı örnekleri (question tags)

İfade olumluysa, soru eki olumsuz olmalıdır.

- She is 29 years old, isn’t she? (O 29 yaşında, değil mi?)

- You are an officer, aren’t you? (Sen bir memursun, değil mi?)

- He was at the meeting, wasn’t he? (O toplantıdaydı, değil mi?)

- She speaks Turkish, dosen’t she? (O Türkçe konuşur, değil mi?)

- They play volleyball, don’t they? (Onlar voleybol oynarlar, değil mi?)

- You are sending an e-mail, aren’t you? (Bir e-posta gönderiyorsun değil mi?)

- We will go to the party, won’t we? (Partiye gideceğiz, değil mi?)

- You ate the chocolate, didn’t you? (Çikolatayı yedin, değil mi?)

- He can ride a bike, can’t he? (O bisiklete binebilir, değil mi?)

- You have lived in Ankara, haven’t you? (Ankara’da yaşamaktasın değil mi?)

- I should wait over there, shouldn’t I? (Orada beklemeliyim, değil mi?)



İfade olumsuzsa, soru eki olumlu olmalı.

- She isn’t 29 years old, is she? (O 29 yaşında değil, öyle değil mi?)

- You aren’t an officer, are you? (Sen bir memur değilsin, öğle değil mi?)

- He wasn’t at the meeting, was he? (O toplantıda değildi, değil mi?)

- She dosen’t speak Turkish, does she? (O Türkçe konuşmuyor, değil mi?)

- They don’t play volleyball, do they? (Onlar voleybol oynamazlar, değil mi?)

- You aren’t sending an e-mail, are you? (Bir e-posta göndermiyorsun değil mi?)

- We won’t go to the party, will we? (Partiye gideceğiz, değil mi?)

- You didn’t eat the chocolate, did you? (Çikolatayı yemedin, değil mi?)

- He can’t ride a bike, can he? (O bisitlete binemez, değil mi?)

İstisna

‘I’ ile ‘to be’ fiili söz konusu olduğunda;

- I’m going to pass the exam, aren’t I? (Sınavı geçeceğim, değil mi?)

- I’m not going to pass the exam, am I? (Sınavı geçmeyeceğim, değil mi?)
