Go there / go to there

Belirli bir yöne hareket bildiren ifadelerde bulunan TO edatı hangi durumlarda kullanılmaz?

- She went to the mall last week. (Geçen hafta alışveriş merkezine gitti)

Yukarıdaki örnekte 'mall' bir isim (noun) olduğundan, öncesinde TO edatı geldi.

Ancak;

There, anywhere, nowhere, somewhere, outside, inside, abroad, upstairs, downstairs,
 underground, downtown gibi yer bildiren zarflardan (adverbs) önce TO bulunmaz.

- I feel like my life is going nowhere. (Hayatımın hiç bir yere gitmediğini hissediyorum)

"…is going to nowhere."  ifadesi YANLIŞ olur.

- I’ve never stepped inside that store! (O dükkanın içine adımımı atmadım!)

- Do you want to travel abroad to study? (Çalışmak için yurtdışına gitmek istiyor musun?)

- The dog headed upstairs and to the Mete’s room. (Köpek üst kata ve Mete’nin odasına yöneldi.)

- You should go outside and touch some grass. (Dışarı çıkmalı ve biraz çimenlere dokunmalısın.)

- Are you going there? (Oraya mı gidiyorsun?)

- I love walking donwtown. (Şehir merkezine doğru yürümeyi seviyorum.)

- Tomorrow we will go somewhere else. (Yarın başka bir yere gideceğiz.)
